Frequently Asked Questions

Before The Session

What season is best for photos in Oklahoma? Living in Oklahoma means the weather is always a wild card, but every season has its own vibe. Here is my breakdown:

  • Spring: Green grass and blooming flowers. Con: It can be rainy and we have to dodge the wind.
  • Summer: Golden sunsets, wildflowers, and warm evenings. Con: The humidity and heat (we will sweat, but I’ll make it look good).
  • Fall: The crowd favorite. Crisp air, layers, boots, and colorful leaves. Con: The window for peak color is short (usually mid-Oct to mid-Nov).
  • Winter: Moody, dramatic, and cozy. Think coats, coffee, and stark landscapes. Con: Everything is brown, and it gets cold fast.
  • My Pick: I love shooting year-round, but late Fall and early Summer are hard to beat for that golden-hour glow.
